A workshop for area teachers conducted by University-level physics professors will be held. The first one is September 23, 2023 and it will take place at the Baylor Research and Innovation Collaborative (BRIC). The cost is $25 and includes lunch.
The second will be February, 2024. Watch here for details. Coordinator is Dr. Barbara Castanheira Endl of Baylor University.
STEM Programs Coordinator, Alan Small is bringing eclipse teacher training to area schools. Includes background information,
techniques, and tips for teachers to host and facilitate day-of-eclipse programming. The training will be held on site at your school during a staff meeting or professional development day. Resource kit is included. Over 30,000 area students will be covered with this training so far.
